We made it back safely to San Diego and all had a great time after a magical experience on the Star Clippers enchanting ship the Royal Clipper. We had a few bumps in the road but overall the Star Clipper was a 10! We sailed the Caribbean stopping along the way in Grenada, Martinique and other islands. The sail away was magnificent, when we departed Barbados the guests on a cruise ship in port were hanging off the rails waving and taking pictures as we left port! One has to fully experience this ship to truly understand this unique journey. The food is beyond over the top, the crew is exceptional, the beds are very comfortable, and the wind in the sails lulled us to sleep at night. We met many guests, mostly English, however, they are from all over the world. It is beautiful and casual at the same time. Our group was well known (in two short days) and we all had such a great time. The music on board was simply enchanting! I wish everyone could experience this trip, it was more like a catamaran than a cruise ship but we were treated like royalty.
