Food has always been a large part of cruising and the new Royal Princess has no shortage of dining options! Whether you choose a specific dining time or anytime dining, the food is delicious. All of the comfortable choices you may seek (steak, lobster, chicken, etc.) as well as numerous other creations by the excellent chefs. Princess Cruises is known for making their meals from scratch, as much as possible, and the Royal Princess takes it to another level.

In the main dining room, you can reserve a spot at the Chef’s Table Lumiere, this private event includes meeting the chef, a tour of the galley during dinner service and seating at a spectacular custom made glass table where you are surrounded by a curtain of light. It really is a sight to see. This option is meant to be exclusive from start to finish.

The Horizon Court has doubled in size! This buffet area has beautiful décor and walkways where you will never feel crowded. An immense amount of options including a wide selection of quick meals or snakes in addition to a hibachi grill, multiple rotisseries and carving stations, a taqueriea and salad tossing stations. The Royal Princess has taken buffet to another level. Just when you thought you had too many choices, there’s an entire buffet dedicated to pastries and desserts as well as a full range coffee bar.

If it is specialty dining you seek, the Royal Princess has two options. Sabatini’s is a Tuscan-inspired restaurant where you will enjoy a tantalizing Italian dinner featuring bold and sophisticated flavors course after course. At Crown Grill chefs custom-prepare fresh seafood and cooked-to-order steaks. You can also enjoy a wine-pairing meal in the wine room where you will meet the sommelier and dine with other distinguished guests.

There’s still many more options for dining including:

  • 24-hour room service
  • The International Café with fresh-baked pastries, coffee and sandwiches
  • Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar is for seafood lovers featuring fresh from the sea- sushi, sashimi, ceviche and caviar.
  • Vines Wine Bar is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite glass of wine and a selection of regional snacks including Spanish tapas and Venetian cicchetti.
  • Gelato- for a delicious dessert or afternoon delight, the gelateria offers many tempting treats including sundaes, crepes, smoothies, shakes and homemade waffle ice cream cones.
  • Alfredo’s Prizzeria is an award winner which features mouth-watering Neapolitan-style pizza served hot out of the oven and spectacular salads.

You can also enjoy a Pub Lunch at the Wheelhouse (designated date and time), popcorn while watching Movies Under the Stars, chocolates on your pillows…

Needless to say, you won’t go hungry on your vacation at sea!
