The one, two and three-bedroom apartments all have stunning views of the cove as well as space for private dining , while the resort’s fine-dining restaurant, day spa and pool provide further comforts during your stay.   The Bay of Many Coves is surrounded by an eco-marine haven, way off the beaten track. Sit out on your private balcony, taking in the most glorious views of this natural paradise, and you will understand why Captain Cook chose this area as his favoured anchorage while visiting New Zealand. Watch out for dolphins and fur seals which are often spotted in the waters around the resort.   When it is time to explore, Bay of Many Coves offers year-round activities, including over 6 kilometres of private walking trails that link to the internationally-renowned Queen Charlotte Track. Wander down one of the many forest tracks and discover the wonderful native birds that are always plentiful in the Resort. If the world-class views of the Queen Charlotte Sound don’t completely mesmerize you, the cuisine in the Foredeck certainly will.   This is 5-star dining at its very best in a pure, natural environment that simply cannot be matched.   Watch the sun set across the bay, or the moon as it sails above the distant hills. On cooler nights, nestle in by the open fire with a glass of Marlborough’s finest and a dining experience you will never forget.   As we wish to ensure that dining in the Foredeck will be a sophisticated and romantic dining experience for you, we ask that young children not be in the restaurant after 7pm.

Kumatage restaurant

Relaxed dining for breakfast, brunch or lunch, with wonderful views from the veranda that make every meal worth lingering over.   You can simply enjoy a great coffee with fresh delights from the bakery; take refreshments from the cellar; or enjoy a snack or full meal after a long day enjoying the outdoors. The lounge-like atmosphere is conducive to relaxed conversation over a drink or light meal as you plan the day’s activities.
