Amandari

Amandari (&lsquo;peaceful spirits&rsquo;) is located in the village of Kedewatan, part of Bali&rsquo;s cultural capital, Ubud. Perched on an escarpment high above the winding Ayung River Gorge, the resort follows the design of a traditional Balinese village. Pebbled walkways link the 31 thatched-roof suites, each of which has its own walled garden, with the restaurant, bar, swimming pool, library, gym and Aman Spa. There is also an exclusive villa overlooking the rice terraces. Amandari provides a unique setting from which to experience the cultural richness of Bali&rsquo;s artistic centre, as well as its mountainous region to the north.

Amandari Suite
Ideal for families, the Amandari Suite offers a tranquil retreat in Ubud&rsquo;s cultural heartland. An outdoor dining pavilion, spacious tropical garden and a private infinity swimming pool make the most of the serene landscapes that surround, while inside, materials such as coconut and teak wood have been used to reflect the suite&rsquo;s natural setting. The marble outdoor bathtub offers a place to reflect, while the dressing room and separate shower and toilet ensures space-enough for every guest. For larger groups, the expansive separate living pavilion can be transformed into a second bedroom and a further bedroom can be arranged by connecting the Amandari Suite to an adjacent Valley Suite.
Amandari Villa
The Amandari Villa is a serene Balinese-style home surrounded by cascading rice terraces and offering beautiful views of the Ayung River Valley. Composed of five free-standing pavilions, a landscaped garden and a two-tiered swimming pool, the villa features three detached terrace-style bedrooms and a kitchen for entertaining. Consummate privacy can be found here, whether admiring the Batukaru, Sanghyang and Lesung Peaks from the terrace, dining in the open-air bale, or retreating in the glass-walled living room.&nbsp; The property, serviced by two staff, is situated a minute&rsquo;s drive from Amandari, with a dedicated vehicle on hand to ensure amenities are always within close reach.
Asmara Suite
Overlooking Ubud&rsquo;s verdant rice paddies, the free-standing Asmara Suite offers a private pool and interiors with teak and marble decorative accents, ideal for couples seeking space and privacy.
