The Royal Blue Villa’s include three breezy, light-filled bedrooms. Each has been carefully decorated, incorporating original furniture and elegant handicrafts emblematic of the island. The master bedroom presents an alluring four-poster bed and enlarged dressing area, which leads to a private gazebo. Furnished with gym equipment, the gazebo's east facing veranda offers unparalleled sunrise vistas.  Additionally, all bedrooms have either private verandas or gardens, and all beds are swathed in 320-count pure cotton satin sheets. In-room entertainment is accessible via 3249-inch flat screen TVs.   Each bedroom houses an en-suite marble bathroom equipped with a bathtub with separate rain showers and toilets. One has the additional benefit of a double-sided fireplace filled with candles. Perched above the azure Aegean Sea, each contemporary Two-Bedroom Villa incorporates natural materials and traditional island artwork. It is designed to ideally combine indoor and outdoor living, with beautiful pebble mosaic terraces overlooking Spinalonga and the sea, a veranda with a dining area, and sun beds around an enlarged heated infinity pool.  Inside, a spacious living room houses original pieces handpicked from Morocco, Crete, and other Greek isles and boasts a comfortable divan or a fireplace. Both villas feature state-of-the-art amenities, including a premium entertainment center with a Playstation, and an iPod®.   Following an adventurous day, the master bedroom offers a welcoming four-poster king bed. The second bedroom is also furnished with a king bed and equipped with a walk-in dressing area. Both beds are wrapped in 320-thread-count pure cotton satin sheets, and each bedroom is outfitted with a 49-inch flat screen television. Individually-controlled air conditioning offers additional comfort.   Each bedroom houses an en-suite marble bathroom. Attached to the master bedroom, a Jacuzzi bathtub and elegant double vanity reside alongside a walk-in dressing area, separate shower, and toilet. In the second bedroom, the marble bathroom comprises a bathtub and separate toilet. For travelers, sampling the catch of the day, is one of the most satisfying ways to feel like a local. At a land that extends along the coast, with fishermen from the neighboring harbors delivering their catch daily, Blue Door fairly claims the title of the all-time classic Greek holiday spot; right by the water.   Culinary Treasure:   Chef Athinagoras Kostakos curates the menu here and showcases the best of the traditional Greek cuisine, with an emphasis on fish. A true highlight is the salt-baked fish, to be savored with a variety of home-made salsas presented at your table. And Harris, the taverna’s host, will welcome you for lunch or dinner with the traditional tray packed with Greek meze and serve you the best raki of the island to feel absolutely a Cretan at heart!

Isola

Italian by the Beach.  Isola offers a seasonal feast of vibrant summery salads and pizza, fresh seafood and contemporary dishes bursting with flavor; all shared in long leisurely lunches or dinners with postcard views amidst refreshing sea breezes.   Cretan Grappa Distillation   Guests have the opportunity to make their own flavored tsikoudia or raki, produced by Cretan wine varieties such as Moschato Spinas, Vilana and Liatiko. Our sommelier will guide you through the process, helping you to select the flavor of your preference and pair it with local herbs, spices and dried fruits. Once the distillation process is finished, you may enjoy the grappa you’ve produced at the spot or at the privacy of your room.

Isola Beach Club

Accents of the South  Set among olive trees and overlooking the shore, the Isola Beach Club offers a relaxed bohemian ambience. Light, refreshing beachside dishes, served also at the privacy of your sunbed, are created from locally sourced produce, as well as from vegetables and herbs grown in the resort’s garden.   The Effortless Cool of Lazy Summer Days: The spiral stone building is where our DJ weaves the musical spells of the moment, conspiring with top mixologists and our madly inventive chef to deliver the Cretan beach experience at its most alluring. Olea

Seasonal Mediterranean.  As the resort’s principal restaurant, Olea—named after the olive trees that are found in the traditional Cretan pots on the veranda—offers spectacular sea and Spinalonga views from every table. Treasured moments are ensured by our rich American buffet breakfast with French Champagne.   The Cretan table features produce and recipes from the island’s different regions. Traditional kalitsounia, sweet pastries, and pies sit on the table next to tahini, a sesame seed paste rich in vitamin E and unique antioxidants, and enhanced with different flavors, such as honey and orange.
