Kotor: Highlights of Montenegro - 8 hours
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kotor is surrounded by impressive medieval bulwarks. Strong Venetian influences can be seen in the architecture and a walking tour of the town reveals the Watch Tower (Sat Kula), the 12th-century Cathedral of St Tripun, the Church of St Luc and the 17th-century Prince’s Palace.<br />
After lunch at leisure, drive over the Lov´cen mountain (the Black Mountain which gives Montenegro its name) to Cetinj. The former capital of Montenegro, Cetinj was home to Njegoš, Montenegro’s greatest poet and king. Visit the National Museum of Montenegro, and the monastery before continuing to Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Sea, dating back to the 5th century BC. In the Middle Ages when Budva was under Venetian rule, the town was fortified by powerful Venetian walls to protect against the Ottoman conquests.<br />

Kotor’s Old Town is one of the most beautiful part of Kotor. Today You will take a walk through the Old Town with Your personal guide at Your full disposal. After visit of Old town Kotor, you will have olive oil tasting in Old Mill in Lustica owned by one Montenegrin family, that groves olives and produces premium quality olive oil. Fertile soil and Mediterranean climate have created the ideal conditions for olive cultivation in Montenegro, which according to myth were God’s design. Arrival at Lustica peninsula, famous for its vast unique olive groves, it’s famous cheese in oil, dried fish, prosciutto and many more things.<br />
On this private estate, there are 900 olive trees, some of them a century old. You will familiarize yourself with the authentic olive varieties, and your host will reveal the secret of olive oil, an essential ingredient in the Montenegrin cuisine. Corfu Town & Achilleion Palace - 4.5 hours
<p>Guests will be met by our English speaking guide to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, transfer will be provided back to the ship.<br />

We drive to the old historical village of Gastouri and we arrive at the Achilleion Palace, the former residence of Empress Elizabeth of Austria and later that of Kaiser Wilhelm the 2nd. Here we visit the museum with mementos of the two Royalties and enjoy the splendour of its landscaped gardens and the statues including the famous statue of the dying Achilles.<br />
<br />
Continue through the coastal road of Perama to the beauty spot of Kanoni, where there will be time for drinks (upon consumption) and to photograph the famous views of Mouse Island.<br />

From Kanoni, we continue to Corfu Town for a walking tour in the Historical centre of the fascinating old city where the following historical sights are to be seen:</p>

Corfu Culinary Experience (Full Day)

Corfu is the ideal place to enjoy a diverse mix of different tastes. The cuisine is inextricably tied in with its history and this is what makes the food here so different from the rest of Greece. The cuisine is neither spicy nor bland, but rich in the flavours of the Mediterranean. Specialties consist of local ingredients found on the island; especially olives, lemons, vegetables, tomatoes and fish. Many dishes hark back to the days when cooks put all the ingredients in a single pot and left it to simmer all day.<br />

Today’s excursion starts with the Old Town of Corfu, where you may enjoy a walking tour of this UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. You <span>will d</span>iscover the town’s beautiful sites such as Saint Spyridon Church, dedicated to the protector of the island, the charming narrow Venetian alleyways, the famous Esplanade, one of the largest squares in Europe, the elegant Liston where access in the past was only allowed to the aristocracy of Corfu who were written down in the “Libro d’Oro’’, the Dimarcheio, or Town Hall, and the imposing Palace of St Michael and St George. After exploring Corfu historical center take a stroll through the local market.<br />

Your tour continues with a scenic drive through the countryside to Triklino Vineyard, also known as Ambelonas Corfu, which is situated in Pelekas upon a hill with a panoramic view of central Corfu. Here local varieties of grapes are grown around a building of local architecture, in which traditional oil and wine production tools are displayed.<br />

Upon arrival you will be welcomed with herbal soft drink. Get to know the history of the estate, the vineyard, the wild herbs and vegetables, the equipment and the processes for traditional olive and wine making and then spend some time learning about the principles ingredients and techniques of Mediterranean cuisine and the Corfiot culinary culture. You will then follow a step-by-step live presentation of the preparation of a full Corfiot meal – starter, salad, first course, main course, and desert. Participate in the cooking and sample the dishes at different stages of cooking. After the demonstration you will be able to enjoy lunch while relaxing in the ambient surroundings in the nature before returning to the port.<br />

The museum contains approximately eleven thousand exhibits spanning the 11<sup>th</sup> century BC to the 20<sup>th</sup> century AD from a variety of Asian countries The greater part of the collection, more than ten thousand objects, come from China and Japan, while the rest come from Tibet, Korea, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Thailand and Cambodia. Exciting Jeep Safari in Corfu (Half Day) - 4 hours

Set off on an exciting safari for a day full of adventure and discover Corfu ‘off the beaten track! The safari begins with a scenic drive ascending the main coastal road heading towards the island’s north coast, passing en route the popular resorts of Alykes, Kontokali and Gouvia. Upon arrival at Gouvia, you will head through Ag. Vassilios and Ano Korakiana before you take a narrow meandering road passing through Sokraki, which is one of oldest villages on the island and perched on the mountain peak and cloaked with pine and olive trees. Then continue along a mountain ridge, which offers amazing panoramic views of the islands Mathraki and Othoni, and head towards the village of Troumbetta.<br />
<br />
From Troumbetta follow a narrow country lane in a westerly direction passing by the villages of Alimatades, Vistonas and Makrades. Continue on to Castellino Restaurant which is located high up in the village of Lakones and is renowned for its spectacular panorama of the bay of Paleokastritsa. Owing to its position the cafe is also known as ‘God’s balcony’. Here you will have the opportunity to indulge in a typical Greek meze and a glass of wine or ouzo. From Lakones, descend to Paleokastritsa bay where a stop for swimming can be made. Upon completion of the tour, return to the port.<br />

Begin with a scenic drive to the impressive Achilleion Palace, which was built by Empress Elizabeth of Austria as a refuge from the obligations of the Hapsburg court. Accompanied by your local guide you will enter the fascinating and fairytale world of Achilleion, the home that the Empress dedicated to her favorite hero, Achilles. This sumptuously decorated palace is surrounded by magnificent gardens sweeping down to the sea.<br />

Continue on through the countryside to Triklino Vineyard which situated in Pelekas upon a hill with a panoramic view of central Corfu. Here local varieties of grapes are grown around a building of local architecture, in which traditional oil and wine production tools are displayed. Along with the tour, you will get the chance to see a short video which demonstrates the traditional wine and olive oil production, from the collection of the grapes and olives to the taste of the first drop. Of course you will have the opportunity to taste the home-made local wine and olive oil together with a traditional meze.<br />

Mykonos Island Tour - Half Day Tour
<p>Guests will be met by our English speaking guide to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, transfer will be provided back to the ship.<br />

During this tour you will see and visit the most interesting places of the island. First destination is the beach of Saint Ioannis with the picturesque little church. At this quaint little church you will be able to see the interior of a typical Greek Church (more than four hundred on the island).<br />
<br />
Following the route past Ornos beach, San Stefano beach, and Tourlos harbour continuing to the distant beaches of Kalafatis and Santa Anna. Later on you will have the opportunity to visit the village of Ano Mera, which is well known for the monastery Panagia Tourliani and the typical little square surrounded by traditional Greek taverns. After visiting the monastery and enjoying the magnificent views, we shall return to Mykonos town.<br />
<br />
Starting from the Yacht club at old port you will stroll around the narrow alleys of Mykonos, visiting Manto Mavrogenous square, the unique church of Parapaportiani, the lovely Little Venice, the magnificent Windmills. The numerous souvenir shops, the cafes at the waterfront were you can see the pelicans being fed from people, create a unique atmosphere that no one can forget. Colours such as blue and white remind that the island has remained untouched throughout the years. Free time at the end is recommended.<br />

Delos island tour approx 4 hours
<span>Delos, once a Sacred Island, is the legendary birthplace of the Sun God Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Its religious significance coupled with a good harbour and strategic location on the Aegean trade routes enabled Delos to flourish for 500 years. Today, the only remaining inhabitants are its treasured ruins and their caretakers. </span><br />
<span>Visit the marbled streets of the Agora and Sacred Way, the Sanctuary of Apollo, the theatre, the Sanctuary of the Foreign Gods and the Sacred Mount Cynthus. View the remains of a Hellenistic Quarter with its harbours, water houses and luxurious villas, including the Houses of Cleopatra, the Dolphin, the Masks and the House of Dionyssos. Marvel at the spectacular Avenue of the Lions, where five proud Naxian marble beasts from the 7th Century BC crouch, vigilant guardians of the Sacred Lake, which stands dry today.
