The building was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Lazartis from Smyrna based on the vision of a German nun. Seven Seas Mariner offers FREE WiFi access throughout the ship, allowing guests to connect to the Internet with their own device. If a guest prefers to travel without a laptop, the staffed Club.com on Deck 6 offers desktop computers that allow them to access their emails and browse the Internet. Guests also have access to a printer for a nominal fee. 

Reception and Concierge

Our guests’ every wish, whim and want can be fulfilled at our welcoming Reception Desk on Deck 5 in the Atrium. Open 24 hours a day our office staff is happy to answer questions. The ship’s Concierge can be contacted at the Reception Desk as well. He or she is eager to provide guests with general assistance.

Of all the pleasures of cruising, enriching the mind can be among the most fulfilling. Gaining insider’s knowledge and participating in one-of-a-kind programs elevates the experience and brings unforgettable memories. While throughout all of our voyages guests can join in any number of complimentary enriching activities, our Spotlight Series voyages feature an in-depth focus on a particular subject. Enjoy the music and dance of world-renowned entertainers, learn the fine art of pairing wine with food, or simply gain otherwise unobtainable insight into world affairs at the hand of former ambassadors, politicians and other notables.

Featured Lecturers

Part of what makes a cruise with us so rewarding is the way we augment traditional shipboard activities with bridge instruction and other enhancements. We also offer an excellent lecture series on select voyages. Lecturers provide insight and perspectives far beyond what you would read in the average guidebook. Many of our speakers have first-hand knowledge of these locales, and most come from the foreign service and leading universities, or perhaps from the world of the arts or journalism.

Onboard Happenings

Each voyage aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises is unique, with special activities tailored to the region and season. Guests can watch celebrated chefs prepare signature dishes during demonstrations and, aboard Seven Seas Explorer®, they may learn essential cooking techniques at the Culinary Arts Kitchen. They can golf by day, dance by night, and partake in a host of recreational pursuits, as well as sip and savor their way through some of the world's greatest wine regions and the merriment of holidays and with decadent onboard celebrations.

This special series of cruises focuses on learning about and exploring the world around us. Guests gain perspective on our environment, rare locations on our planet, and even destinations beyond Earth. The Smithsonian Collection by Smithsonian Journeys

The Smithsonian Collection by Smithsonian Journeys is an engaging onboard enrichment program led by a wide range of experts, from noted art historians to leading authors to former diplomats, who are eager to share their first-hand knowledge and expertise. More than a lecture series, this program is completely interactive. Smithsonian Journeys Experts sail for the entire duration of our voyages, allowing for the exchange ideas and social interactions on personal level, from dinners to cocktail parties, in addition to attending insightful talks.

Programming ranges from exquisite wine and artisan cheese tastings, as well as in-depth cooking classes at the Culinary Arts Kitchen. Guests may also participate in insightful lectures and discussions through The Smithsonian Collection by Smithsonian Journeys available on the majority of itineraries. And across all their ships, guests can choose to be pampered in the onboard Canyon Ranch SpaClub® or in the heated shimmering waters of the sun-kissed resort pool. Each evening live music performances are perfectly paired with expertly prepared cocktails. And at the main show lounge guests can attend full-scale musical productions and rousing cabaret shows in an intimate venue where every seat is the best seat in the house.

Shipboard Policies

Pregnancy Policy
Regent Seven Seas Cruises cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during, the cruise.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all suites, staterooms and balconies fleet-wide. In addition, cigarette, electronic cigarette or cigar smoking is not permitted in any enclosed dining areas, whether it be the ship's main dining rooms, the alternate dining venues or the outdoor dining areas. Electronic cigarette smoking is permitted throughout the ship with the exception of the dining areas mentioned above.
Cigarette smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the outdoor pool area and the following public rooms:
- Connoisseur Club
- Horizon Lounge (outdoor one side designated area)
- Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar)
Cigar Smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club and the designated area on the opposite side of the Pool Bar.
Pipe smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club. Pipe smoking in open deck areas is considered an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.
Failure to comply with the above-stated policy will result in guests being asked to leave the ship at their expense, without refund or credit for the unused portion of their cruise.
Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required
Guests with special dietary requests should advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises of any special dietary requirements 90 days prior to sailing by sending an e-mail to rsscops@rssc.com. General dietary needs such as low salt or low cholesterol foods can be satisfied onboard the ship just by speaking with the dining wait staff.
Wheelchair Access & Special Needs
Guests with any medical condition(s) that require special services, including travel with medical apparatus, should advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises in writing at time of booking. Please note some ports-of-call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and special arrangements may need to be made.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' wheelchairs on board are for emergency purposes only. Guests requiring a wheelchair for mobility must bring their own.
For guests requiring oxygen equipment, an oxygen concentrator is the only form of oxygen equipment allowed aboard ship, and must be provided by the guest.
Regent has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort on board may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Computer centers are centrally-located on each ship and Internet access is available for a nominal fee. Wireless access is available throughout the ship, including most suites, and is generally available at a speed of 640kb, but does vary. Please be advised that bandwidth-heavy applications such as Skype and MagicJack are not permitted to be used onboard.
Mobile devices utilizing the internet via a cellular carrier's network (4G for example) instead of the ship's wireless access, will be treated as cell phone usage and roaming charges will apply. Guests who elect not to participate in Regent Seven Seas Cruises® standard Air/Sea Program or do not purchase transfer arrangements from Regent Seven Seas Cruises® will be responsible for their own transfer arrangements to and from the ship.

FREE Unlimited Shore Excursion reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. All children 17 and under are required to have an adult 18 years or older with them on any of our excursions. Shore Excursions early bookings close 7 days prior to sailing. A 75-minute window is required between tours operating on the same day in port.

FREE 1-Night Pre-Cruise Hotel Package applies to Guests 1 and 2 in Concierge Suites and higher and includes transfers from hotel to pier only. Hotel Package is capacity-controlled with limited availability and is not available for new bookings made within 60 days of departure. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® reserves the right to change or withdraw any Hotel Package at any time without notice.

FREE Land Program applies to guests 1 and 2 for one Pre- or Post-Cruise program is not combinable with the FREE 1-Night Pre-Cruise Hotel Package or the 5% discount on Pre- or Post-Cruise Hotel or Land Programs available to guests sailing in Concierge Suites and higher. Guests in Concierge Suites and higher who choose a FREE Land Program or choose to arrange their own pre- cruise hotel accommodations will receive a credit in lieu of the FREE 1-Night Hotel Package, credit varies by voyage. FREE Unlimited WiFi: FREE Unlimited WiFi provides guests with general web browsing, access to emails and app to app messaging (chat) while blocking bandwidth intensive applications like video and audio streaming. One login is provided per suite, which may be used on one device at a time. As part of our loyalty program’s benefits, Seven Seas Society members who have reached Gold-level and higher, and guests sailing in Concierge Suites and higher will receive four logins for up to four devices, that may be used concurrently.
