Carnival Breeze has the whole family covered - with water, that is - with a 320-foot-long Twister Waterslide at Carnival WaterWorks. Just for the kids there's supervised youth programs Camp Ocean, Circle "C" and Club O2. And for the bigger people, there's time to be spent doing blissfully nothing at Serenity Adult Only Retreat… after pampering yourself at Cloud 9 Spa, of course.

Nobody knows Mexican dining like a blue iguana. Well, our blue iguana, at least. That’s why it should come as no surprise that the BlueIguana Cantina features freshly made tacos and burritos stuffed specially for your enjoyment. Throw our homemade tortillas and salsa into the mix, and you have a casual dining experience that will make you say “mmmm” (which is actually Iguanese for “more, please”).

Guy's Burger Joint

We went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, and we found just the guy. Carnival has teamed up with best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy’s Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own. 

Cucina del Capitano

Say arrivederci to ordinary and ciao to an exciting dining experience at the restaurant that pays homage to our unique heritage. Italian-American dishes inspired by the recipes from our Italian captains’ and officers’ childhoods are served up family-style in a comfy, eclectic environment decorated like an Italian country home. Vintage images of our captains and ships adorn the walls, and there’s even a Captain’s table where you just might see the man himself dine.

Steakhouse

Turn your special vacation in the direction of delicious — book a table for an unforgettably delectable evening at the Steakhouse. Our menu features mouthwatering premium cuts of beef cooked to your exact specifications, as well as a fantastic selection of seafood, entrées, gourmet appetizers and an extensive wine list. The atmosphere pairs remarkably well with — and perhaps even enhances — the culinary creations of our gourmet chefs.

Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que

When the cool ocean breeze hits your nose with the sweet smell of smoke, you know you better follow it to Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. At this onboard, open-air spot, Guy's doin’ his authentic, real-deal barbecue, his way. The Barbecue Hall of Famer is bringin’ some big time meats like Championship Pork Butt, Smoked Round of Beef, Smoked Andouille Sausage and his famous Blue Ribbon Chicken as well as rockin’ sides like Mac Daddy Mac n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad and Collard Greens. Throw in his signature line of barbecue sauces and you’ve got a rockin’ sea day on deck. 

Dining Room

“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included (along with the rest of your meal, by the way) in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction — drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favorites like steak, roasted duck, scallops and prime rib.

Lido Restaurant

Featuring a nice variety of casual dining options like Mongolian Wok, Chef’s Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli and more, the Lido Restaurant has something — or more likely, at least a few somethings — to satisfy your craving. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus food options for everyone, you can enjoy your personal favorites in company of family and friends for lunch or dinner… or even breakfast! It’s also where you can find our pizza, soft serve and frozen yogurt — all open 24 hours a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.

Tossing dough is an age-old art passed down the generations. Lucky for you, someone passed us the secret to the perfect pie. While aboard, this is the place that will shiver your timbers and warm you to the bone, 24 hours a day, with a Margherita, Funghi, Prosciutto, Pepperoni or Quatttro Formaggi pizza served with a delicious Caesar salad. The Chef's Table

Treat your taste buds to the experience of a lifetime, culminating in a sumptuous multicourse dinner hosted by the Master Executive Chef. Your VIP experience starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 14, followed by a tour to see the galley in operation. The evening concludes with a mind-blowing full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on our regular dining menus.

Chow down on some delicious Asian goodness. First, select your noodles and veggies. Then tell one of our chefs which sauce and meat you want in the wok. Will it be mussels and Szechuan? Looking for a little taste from the old neighborhood? Pile 'em high at the Carnival Deli. Enjoy old time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, grilled Reuben, or roasted turkey breast on a country roll. Our sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved and served fresh with cole slaw or relish. Come by, satisfy your craving for a great sandwich and make sure you don’t forget the kosher dill.

The Captain's Pasta Bar

A few things make a successful pasta dish: fresh ingredients, the right blend of spices and sauces… and of course, al dente preparation. The care and know-how of an experienced pasta pro takes it to the next level — and you’ll find them at The Captain’s Pasta Bar. Start with the pasta you’re in the mood for — linguine, farfalle, penne anyone? — then select your choice of sauce and meat, and they’ll cook it up in the same Italian culinary tradition we bring to the table nightly at Cucina del Capitano. While you’re lunching, take in the dining room’s rustic Italian country home design… there’s nothing like atmosphere to bring out the flavor in a dish.

Looking for a bit of mama’s home cookin' during your vacation? Comfort Kitchen combines incredible new variations of classic favorites straight from her recipe box. Start with a mixed-greens salad topped with the freshest ingredients before moving on to delicious ricotta meatloaf served with garlic roast potatoes. Finish the meal off right with warm apple pie or peach cobbler. Kids never need an excuse to play, did you know that cognitive scientists — fully-grown adults without bedtimes — believe that play is essential to childhood development? At Carnival, we believe play is important to ALL ages, so onboard games are a huge part of the Carnival experience for all, young and old! From physical challenges to scavenger hunts to the very appropriate Battle of the Ages — the trivia game that actually pits kids against adults — Carnival puts the “all” in “fun for all.” (Not to mention the “fun.”)

A room full of too-serious old men, many wearing monocles, paying top-dollar for priceless antique works of art. If that’s the “art auction” that comes to mind, adjust your expectations before your Carnival cruise! Unlike a stodgy auction house, your vacation features a series of auction events designed to turn high art into high fun. From the rapid-fire ‘Lightning’ action to the cheap thrills of the ‘under $500’ event, there are plenty of chances to try your hand at bringing home something great and have a blast doing it. Unlike land auctions, we even hold fun interactive events like the “Guess the Price” competition. That said, our onboard auctions aren’t completely without fancy things — after all, what’s an auction without free-flowing champagne?

Go from ‘normal vacationer’ to ‘world-traveling art whiz’ in one cruise flat — Carnival offers such a variety of educational and enlightening seminars that we should hand out Art History degrees at the end of each cruise! We may not be an accredited university, but your cruise features an ‘Art 101’ lecture series designed to be your entrance into this vibrant world. We’ll go from the earliest cave paintings to the modern masters — with stops at topics like the Renaissance, Baroque, Surrealism and Pop Art — and cover both theory and technique. You’ll walk away with a spectrum of knowledge to use at your next art auction… or to elevate your cocktail party chatter.

When you’re on a Carnival cruise, there are plenty of places to bust out your moves when the mood strikes: in the dance club, at a deck party, in line for tandoori. Some people are born with all the right moves, but the rest of us need a little instruction to smooth the sharp edges off of ours. That’s why you’ll find a host of free dance classes that sail along with you, helping you make the most of your cruise… which is perfect because a cruise is just the kind of vacation that puts you in the dancing mood!

There are two kinds of people — land people and sea people. Unless they were born on a pirate ship or something, pretty much everybody starts out as a land person. And look, there’s nothing wrong with that. But there’s a process for becoming a sea person, and the Caribbean Sailaway Party on your first Carnival cruise is where the transformation occurs. Guests have told us we hit on something special with the cool Caribbean chill of the RedFrog Pub. We've taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog® Red. 

Alchemy Bar

You don’t need to be a mix-master to appreciate Alchemy – you just have to be up for trying something new. We’ve been stirring up some magic behind the scenes here at Carnival to produce a tasty series of all-new cocktails served at this unique vintage-themed cocktail “pharmacy.” Let our cocktail specialists prescribe you something from the bar, with both nonalcoholic and alcoholic elixirs to remedy what ails you. Or, create your own custom concoction from a variety of unique ingredients. 

BlueIguana Tequila Bar

BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza. The menu offers up Mexican favorites, including several brands of tequila and a slew of Mexican brews. There’s a lineup of frozen concoctions, cocktails and margaritas served by the glass or by the pitcher, and even a special Mexican beer cocktail (yes, really). Where can you find this little slice of Mexican paradise? Next to the pool, of course. So stay cool and take in the bar’s vacation vibe while you kick back on your cruise – that’s what official bar mascot Blue the Iguana would tell you.

Play it again, Sam. Or Diana. Or whatever your name is. Because this is the bar where you call the shots – and the songs. When was the last time you got up and danced… at the theater? Playlist Productions takes tunes you know and presents them like you’ve never experienced before — past favorites become full-blown musical productions featuring singers and dancers bringing down the house. Enjoy the spicy sounds of Latin Nights, or the larger-than-life favorites (and personalities) of Divas. Don't forget Motor City — which will have you dancing in your seat — or even The Brits!, a swingin’ revue of your across-the-pond favourites. Thrill Theater

We’re supposed to be quiet at the movies, right? Well… that might be a little hard at Thrill Theater. Here, the action doesn’t just stay on the screen — it makes you a part of the experience. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer… you know, you may even scream a little. It all starts with state-of-the-art 3D video effects, but moves into even more dimensions — feel the wind in your hair, a light splash here and there, plus your seat even gets in on the action for total cinematic immersion. You know, it almost feels like going for a roller-coaster ride… in a small theater. Throughout your cruise, you’ll notice that we’ve scheduled a variety of showings — some features help bring out the laughs from kids and adults alike, while others draw out the awe with epic inspiration. And for the adults (and the almost-adults, 17+) you can even get your thrills with a side of chills… that tingle in your spine might not be your imagination. 

The Punchliner Comedy Club

Comedy clubs on land… well, it’s kinda funny. Nobody likes paying cover charges, and you know that two-drink minimum? They’ve gotta be joking! You won’t find either of these at The Punchliner Comedy Club aboard your Carnival cruise. Up on stage you will find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back either. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.

So whether it's tapping your foot, bobbing your head, laughing out loud... or of course, cheering wildly, don't forget to show the entertainers some love. Seuss-A-Palooza Parada

Stand up and cheer for the Seuss-a-palooza Parade, now streaming down the deck of select Carnival ships. Join characters you love — and a flock of your fellow fun followers — as you become part of the spirited procession of the biggest (and smallest) fans on this side of shore. This parade spreads the fun, so go spread the news… and to think that you’ll do it on your Carnival cruise! 

Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast

Sit down to a truly fantastical feast at the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with The Cat in the Hat and Friends. Bright colors and patterns decorate your table, which features fun and unique menus. Lose yourself exploring a delicious menu where you’ll find “Green Eggs and Ham,” brightly colored fruit, gravity-defying pancake stacks, funky french toast, “Moose Juice” ‘n’ ”Goose Juice”… and much more. (Classic breakfast offerings are available as well.) Breakfast is also the perfect time to meet and greet the stars of Dr. Seuss — characters will be around for special photo opportunities and fun interactions, making this a meal to remember.

Camp Ocean

When families cruise Carnival, even the smallest fish in the pond have a big, awesome time. Okay, so it’s actually way more than just a pond — it’s Camp Ocean. At Camp Ocean, 2–11 year-olds stay busy, keep active and have fun as they enjoy all new ocean-themed activities and entertainment made for kids. We put campers into supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label that’s sure to raise the sails on camaraderie at sea. The littlest little ones — ages 2 to 5 —join the Penguin colony and engage in activities like Musical Icebergs and Ocean Bingo… even learning a thing or two about buoyancy! The little-biggers, 6 to 8, are the way-cool Stingrays, who might be found enjoying Pirate Game Night, making sea salt art or even designing their own aquarium. The big fish are the Sharks — ages 9 to 11 — who really sink their teeth into playing Marine Life Trivia, creating a giant ocean mural, and scoring big with games and sports competitions. Our counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. 

Circle "C"

What does the “C” in Circle “C” stand for? Well, “chill,” “connect” and “cool,” just to name a few. It’s where young teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more, in the special Circle “C” area or around the ship. It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever. 

Club O2

Your parents deserve a nice vacation… but then again, so do you. So let’s let them go do their thing while you do yours. Where to? Club O2. Hang out and do stuff like watch movies, listen to music from this decade, play sports and video games, join karaoke jam sessions… maybe even have a pool party or two, all with other high schoolers ages of 15 to 17. 

Night Owls

Think back — as a kid, was there anything better than times you got to stay up late? Even as an adult, nighttime is funtime, especially with all there is to do on your Carnival cruise. We have the perfect thing for you AND for your kids, and it’s called “Night Owls”! For a nominal fee, kids 11 and under can fun it up with others their age until as late as 1 a.m. They’ll enjoy music, activities, games and giveaways at supervised parties while you enjoy… whatever it is you do at night these days, all without a worry. 

Buid-A-Bear Workshop at Sea

A Carnival cruise gives kids plenty of chances to make new friends… but never before quite like this. When kids visit the Build-A-Bear Workshop at Sea, they use their small hands and big creativity to bring a new stuffed friend to life. They can customize theirs from head to toe by choosing the clothing and accessories, and even give their new friend a voice and message of its own by integrating a customizable voice chip. The cuddly bears are just the beginning — these stuffed friends come in all shapes, like a monkey, sea turtle, dog, bunny… and the cutest shark imaginable. Age-appropriate stuff like treasure hunts, obstacle courses, sports competitions and playground outings at sea are all a step up from similar stuff back on land… both because we’re talking Carnival here, and because uptime for them means well-deserved downtime for you. 

Kids' Digital Play

Just like a great vacation, video games let players briefly escape the real world, see fantastical places and experience new things. And for a lot of kids, gaming’s a big part of their lives, so we give them a chance to indulge in their passions, even while at sea. Aboard the ship (in their age group’s youth space), kids will find a selection of video games to enjoy either by themselves, or with a new friend as their “player 2.” Screen time is just a part of a balanced play-time… one that’s about more than just the high score.

After all, with the video arcade open 24 hours and an entire cruise ahead of you, you have plenty of time to try. 

ZSPA

There’s a lot to being a teen — they need to kick back, chill and sometimes even indulge just as much as adults… if not more! We understand them, which is why we’ve tailored our onboard ZSPA treatments to their unique needs. ZSPA keeps teens looking their best from head to toe, with everything from trendy hairstyles to pedicures. Okay, so it’s not all about looking good — it’s about feeling great too. We make that happen, whether they want to do more for themselves with specialized fitness classes, or perhaps do a little less with relaxation and indulgence programs worth ‘ooh’ing and ‘ahh’ing about. Serenity Adult-Only Retreat

Somebody at Carnival knows just what you need, and it's pretty much exactly the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat. Look, you'll still be on the same ship as the kids, the hoopla, and all the Carnival-style excitement… but you could easily forget, because when you’re at Serenity you could not be further from it all. The world you'll find yourself in is one of complete peace, sea breezes, swaying hammocks and, of course, a nearby bar. It's the place to get done the kind of stuff you just can't seem to do anywhere else — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all.

Wanna splish — and splash — the day away? Head on over to WaterWorks, Carnival's onboard waterpark. First up, there's the Twister Waterslide, hundreds of feet of spiraling awesomeness that starts you off high in the air and gets you down low with one of the fastest, wettest rides you'll find anywhere. Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you'll experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher takes soaking seriously — imagine the biggest bucket of water you've ever seen, raining down on you from above. And this isn't just kids' stuff — the young at heart are encouraged to zoom and splash around too! (WaterWorks configurations vary by ship.) 

Twister Waterslide

Above the ship you'll find the shining sun, but that's not all — basking in its rays is a gleaming symbol of fun, a monument to merriment... a sign of splashy-good times to come. Spot the spiraling Twister Waterslide atop your Carnival ship and you can be sure that your vacation comes complete with twists, turns and squeals of thrilled delight. Countless gallons of water course through the entire length of this slide, so you're by no means dry when you start, but by the time you reach the end — hundreds of feet later — you reach new levels of soaking, splashing down in that classic waterslide photo-finish: hands-up, eyes wide and nothing but exhilaration on your face. 

Pools

Whether today's the day for a bit of a dip, a dash of splash or even some swimming — or just a serious poolside lounging session — your Carnival cruise has just the pool for you. In fact, pools are so important to a great cruise that we designed many of our ships to have two of them. At an aft pool you'll catch a breeze, plus a sea view featuring the ship's wake, while midship pools have an grand view of a different kind: the big screen's right there for the viewing. And no matter which you find yourself chilling in, the sunbeams are yours for the soaking. 

Mini Golf

Imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer's zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but well-manicured fairway... plus one cactus, a treasure chest... and wait, is that a windmill in the way? Just who designed this course anyway? Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small! That's precisely why you'll find a course on every Carnival ship, where you can hit the holes and take in everything you’d expect, like the sights and the sounds... plus the seagulls. 

SportSquare

Your Carnival cruise may take you far, far away from the competitive daily rat-race, but you'll find an oasis of friendly competition at SportSquare. Take on friends at mini-golf, battle strangers at basketball, or push yourself to new heights at SkyCourse... or to record-setting lows at the jogging track. SportSquare gets you in the game with soccer and volleyball (the b-ball court converts!), brings pool, foosball and ping-pong to the table, and rounds things out for shaping up with your choice of stationary bikes, elliptical machines, weight-lifting equipment and punching bags. Are you game? (SportSquare configurations vary by ship.) 

Dodgeball

Some would say that dodgeball is a game of give and take. A game of yin and yang. A game of yes and no… well, maybe. What we’re saying is that this old-school favorite is surprisingly deep. For a game called dodgeball, everyone sure seems to focus on the throwing, when the real story is in the — pardon us for being blunt — the dodging. The skillfully evasive maneuvers. The best defense that is actually the offense. Anyway… where were we? Oh yeah, just thought we’d remind you that you’ll find this veritable sport of kings aboard your next Carnival cruise. 

Volleyball

A Carnival cruise is all about service. There’s usually someone to take you dinner order, make your bed, bring you drinks, give massages at the spa, and so on. In fact, there’s actually very little aboard where you’re left to fend for yourself. Volleyball is an activity we’d definitely term to be — pardon the pun — self-service. That said, whatever your serving style happens to be — overhand, underhand, sidearm — you can take to the court and get the play started your way. 

Basketball

You may think basketball is all about the hoop and getting the ball in there, but you may not have ever played on a Carnival ship. Here, it’s all about the journey to the hoop: the view and the sea breeze you take in as you drive your way past defenders to put the rock in the bucket. Say, that actually reminds us of cruising — the destinations may rock, but it’s all about getting there. (Be warned, though — on our court, strange as it may seem, traveling is still considered a foul.) 

Jogging Track

Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on almost all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.

The chance to complete an awesome challenge, high above it all… now that's what you want in a good ropes course. An awesome ropes course, however, will let you do all that with a cool sea breeze and a view to match! Not sure that navigating a high-up-there challenge is for you? Did we mention that on SkyCourse you'll be safely strapped in, emboldening you to take on the kinds of challenges you may not normally feel up to? Here everyone — even kids — become thrill-seekers, testing their ability to make their way around the course. The course features two levels of challenge, and you can increase or decrease the toughness as you go. So take to the sky... SkyCourse that is.

Hey, who left a gym on top of the cruise ship? Whoever it was, they’ve done us a favor! If you’re gonna sweat it out during your cruise, why not do it outdoors and enjoy a great sea breeze… and the greatest view? Grab some gloves and work the bag, grab a seat and work the bike, or work your way around the vita course for a little of everything. Speaking of variety, why not switch off between SkyFitness and the standard indoor gym, to work a little change of pace into your daily workout?

Cloud 9 Spa

Sometimes you just need to get away… from all that vacation. We know — sitting at home, it’s hard to imagine that, but trust us — it’s really, really nice to have a place to unwind from the day’s excitement. Tipping Policy

It is customary to extend gratuities (tips) to the shipboard staff for their services. How much to tip is a personal matter and completely up to guests. Recommended guideline to what is appropriate is $12.95 USD per person, per day for guests in standard stateroom accommodations and $13.95 USD per person, per day for guests booked in suites. The majority of the tipping amount goes to employees such as stateroom stewards, assistant stewards, dining room waiters and assistant waiters. A small portion goes to a mix of other personnel who are in guest-facing customer service positions within areas such as culinary and hotel services, along with certain key positions in entertainment and guest services.
