Vancouver: Private Vancouver's Ultimate City & Nature Tour - (6 hours)
Highlights:
This private tour explores both the downtown core and the North Shore, and includes a gourmet picnic lunch to be enjoyed along the way. Ketchikan: Private Bears at Anan Remote Observatory - (4 hours)
Highlights:
Seeing bears in their natural habitat is a highlight of any trip to Alaska, but the opportunities are limited for cruising visitors—so we designed this private and exclusive adventure for you. Anan Creek is an ancient Tlingit native fishing site that has the largest pink salmon run in Southeast Alaska, attracting significant numbers of black and brown bears to feast on the bounty—it’s one of only a few places in the world where you can view both. Flying by private floatplane deep into Tongass National Forest, you’ll land on serene Anan Bay. From there, your naturalist guide will escort you on a half-mile hike along a boardwalk to a secure bear observatory overlooking a waterfall. From the viewing platform, you can look down on the fast flowing creek as it cascades towards the sea and large numbers of salmon head upstream to spawn. It’s no surprise that bears congregate here! After spending most of their lives unraveling the mysteries of Alaska fishing, your experienced fishing guide has all the skills you need to catch fish. What's more, they're ready to spend the day teaching you what they know. As fishing conditions change with the seasons and the weather, an Alaskan fishing expedition allows you to head out during any of the summer months with confidence that you will see good action. Your captain will only fish for those species that have been producing the most in recent weeks. During the peak of the summer season from June 15th to August 15th, you will have the best chance at catching multiple species.

Juneau: Juneau Hiking (4 hours)
Enjoy the intimate nature of Alaska’s wilderness and wildlife at a pace that only a hike can provide. You will be safely led by a professional and knowledgeable guide who is locally trained as a naturalist. Go where the locals go and get away from the crowds on permitted Tongass trails. Perseverance
National Recreational Trail—one of the most scenic and well-used trails in Juneau—is one of the three most historically significant trails in the entire state, along with the Chilkoot and Iditarod Trail.

Juneau: Mendenhall Glacier Day Hike (6 hrs)
This five-mile round-trip hike is designed to show off the unique faces of the mighty Mendenhall Glacier. Led by a naturalist guide, the tour begins with an introduction to Juneau and a narrated drive out to the trailhead. Here, you will pause to shoot glacial landscapes and floating icebergs. If the local wildlife is cooperative, this can be a great chance to spot spawning salmon and black bears, as well. As you begin your hike, you will get several vantages of the glacier as you work your way up a forested path to the spur trail. Here, the terrain becomes more difficult, and you’ll find yourself doing some rock scrambling before reaching the peak (an elevation gain of 300 feet)—where your efforts will be rewarded as the glacier spans out magnificently below. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to hike to the glacier’s edge for great photo ops of striated bedrock and crystal blue seracs. Mother Nature puts on a spectacular show in this timeless land of snow-capped peaks and rugged icefalls.

Juneau: Private Guided Brown Bear Viewing at Pack Creek - (6 hours)

The Pack Creek Brown Bear Sanctuary is located 30 air miles outside of Juneau on Admiralty Island. Accessed by floatplane, the native Tlingit people call this impressive island "Kootznoowoo," meaning "Fortress of the Bear." Indeed, Admiralty Island is home to the highest concentration of brown bears in the world; more than all the lower 48 states combined. Juneau: Fortress of the Bears Kayak - (8 hours)
Highlights:
On this adventure, you’ll head to Admiralty Island via floatplane and kayak—making for a journey as exciting as the bear-viewing itself. From there, board your sea kayak and paddle to the edge of either Pack Creek or Windfall Harbor, where the wildlife sanctuary provides protected habitat for brown bears while affording visitors an opportunity to view and photograph wildlife close-up. Your guide will choose the best spot to view the bears; romping in the meadows, catching salmon in secret alcoves, or swimming in the creeks, rivers, and streams. Afterwards, you’ll kayak back to Windfall Island for the floatplane trip back to Juneau.

Juneau: Private Dog Sled Tour - (3 hours 10 mins)
Highlights:
This adventure offers a spectacular helicopter flight combined with the opportunity to partake in the quintessential Alaskan experience—dog-sledding. Flying over the Juneau Ice Field to the dog camp is remarkable in its own right; soon after takeoff, glacier-carved mountains will unfold in front of your eyes. When you arrive, you will immediately meet not just your guides—all qualified Iditarod mushers—but also 80 eager Alaskan huskies. Over a kennel tour and time with your guides, you’ll learn about driving the dogs, and hear unique personal accounts of the Iditarod and other backcountry adventures. You will have ample photo opportunities and can dress up in original Iditarod Trail gear and finishing bibs. Finally, feel the excitement as the team is hooked up, and then hit the trail. Imagine yourself standing on the runners of a dog sled with a team of huskies loping across the ancient snowfields nestled among the peaks of the vast Juneau Icefield. You will learn very quickly the lure of the trail and the thrill of driving a dog team. This experience includes approximate transfer time of 25-minutes each direction from the cruise terminal and approximately 1.5-hours from lift off to landing back at the helicopter base.

The trip begins with a three-mile trail hike through the rainforest and along Mendenhall Lake; with an elevation gain of 500 feet and sections that take you off the beaten path, it will take approximately two hours to reach the glacier. This adventure involves a helicopter ride over the Juneau Ice Field followed by a two-hour hike during which a professional mountaineering guide will teach you the basics of trekking on the icy terrain and give you an understanding of the glacier’s features. From the vantage point of the helicopter, you will immediately gain perspective on the grandeur of the Juneau Icefield and glaciers. Upon landing, you will learn the use of mountaineering gear (ice axe, hard-shell boots, crampons, harness) as your guide leads you through the icescape of the glacier. Anchorage: Private Redoubt Bay Lodge Bear Viewing & Natural History Tour (10-hours)
Highlights:
Alaska is a land of great experiences, but none quite matches that of watching brown bears feed on salmon in a remote wilderness stream. This adventure is all about giving you that experience in a day trip to a pristine lake, with a small, comfortable wilderness lodge to serve as home base. To start, your private driver will transfer you from the Seward Cruise Terminal to Lake Hood, America’s largest floatplane base. From there, you will fly 50 minutes across Cook Inlet to the Redoubt Bay Bear Sanctuary. After lunch at the Redoubt Bay Lodge, you’ll spend three hours in a boat viewing bears at any one of five salmon spawning streams accessible by boat from the lodge. This is one of the safest and most comfortable ways to view bears up close. You will return to Anchorage by floatplane in the early evening, arriving at about 7:00pm Your driver/guide will transfer you the short distance from Lake Hood to the terminal for your outbound flight, or to your Anchorage hotel.

Your tour begins at the Salmon Berry office or the front steps of your hotel. Then it’s off to the historic Port of Anchorage and Ship Creek area where our city was born. Here you’ll learn about Anchorage’s colorful pioneer history, our early tent city, what life was like here before the age
of modern conveniences and how Anchorage got it’s name.
Next we’ll travel past Bootleggers Cove, stopping for a visit to Earthquake Park where you’ll learn about the perils of living on the Pacific Ocean’s “Ring of Fire” and see places where the ground liquefied and massive landslides occurred during the biggest earthquake in US History and 2nd largest earthquake ever recorded worldwide.
