Meet your driver at the Port in Amsterdam for a private transfer to the city centre where your guide is waiting to meet you for a walking tour of this beautiful city. Begin at Dam Square, bordered by the Royal Palace and enjoy wonderful views of the canals and gabled houses of the mercantile quarter before visiting the house in which Anne Frank wrote her celebrated diary during the last war*. After your tour, transfer in the comfort of your own private vehicle back to your ship.

Amsterdam: Highlights of Amsterdam - 8 Hours
Spend the day exploring Amsterdam in the hands of your expert guide. You are met at the port and transferred to Dam Square where your morning’s walking tour includes the notable Royal Palace.  Admire the views of the canals and the gabled houses of the Canal Ring district, where you will visit the house in which Anne Frank wrote her celebrated diary during the last war*.

After lunch explore the beautifully-restored Rijksmuseum, to admire the stunning collection of masterpieces from the seventeenth-century Golden Age, including works by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Amsterdam: Aalsmeer, Delft & Den Haag - 8 Hours
You are met at Amsterdam port for a full-day excursion outside of the city. Not far from Amsterdam lies Aalsmeer with its Flower Auction - the largest in the world. Here you will watch the colourful auction from the observation gallery, and the earlier you arrive, the more you see.

From Aalsmeer, travel on to Delft, one of the most beautiful towns in the Netherlands. Delft preserves an historic look that is best appreciated by walking along its small canals with their graceful humpbacked bridges. Delft is also world-renowned for its famous blue and white porcelain. After lunch at leisure continue to Den Haag, the home of the Dutch Royal Family and also the administrative capital of The Netherlands. Explore the Mauritshuis Museum that holds one of the world's finest collections of paintings, predominately Dutch artists, including Rembrandt, Steen, Hals, Rubens and Van Dyck.

This morning we sail to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a tour of this ingenious network of windmills and other flood management devices. You learn why the windmills were built and see how they work, plus you enter a working windmill for a tour of its mechanisms and living quarters. Return onboard for lunch and an enjoyable afternoon of Dutch diversions: sample handcrafted Dutch cheeses and jenever, a distilled juniper liquor, and take in a culturally enriching presentation on the Dutch Golden Age. Continue with a walking tour through Old Town to Heidelberg's renowned gates. On your way back to your ship, visit the historic town of Speyer and take in views of the imposing Romanesque cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 11th century on the site of a former basilica, the building's design influenced Romanesque architecture for centuries to come, and is the final resting place of eight German monarchs.
