One of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture in Venice, St. Mark’s Basilica was once the Doge’s chapel. As you enter the Basilica, marvel at the golden mosaics depicting the life of St. Mark, the Old and New Testaments, the life of Jesus and his Resurrection. The cuisine is neither spicy nor bland, but rich in the flavours of the Mediterranean. Specialties consist of local ingredients found on the island; especially olives, lemons, vegetables, tomatoes and fish. Many dishes hark back to the days when cooks put all the ingredients in a single pot and left it to simmer all day.

Today’s excursion starts with the Old Town of Corfu, where you may enjoy a walking tour of this UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. You will discover the town’s beautiful sites such as Saint Spyridon Church, dedicated to the protector of the island, the charming narrow Venetian alleyways, the famous Esplanade, one of the largest squares in Europe, the elegant Liston where access in the past was only allowed to the aristocracy of Corfu who were written down in the “Libro d’Oro’’, the Dimarcheio, or Town Hall, and the imposing Palace of St Michael and St George. After exploring Corfu historical center take a stroll through the local market.

Your tour continues with a scenic drive through the countryside to Triklino Vineyard, also known as Ambelonas Corfu, which is situated in Pelekas upon a hill with a panoramic view of central Corfu. Here local varieties of grapes are grown around a building of local architecture, in which traditional oil and wine production tools are displayed.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed with herbal soft drink. Get to know the history of the estate, the vineyard, the wild herbs and vegetables, the equipment and the processes for traditional olive and wine making and then spend some time learning about the principles ingredients and techniques of Mediterranean cuisine and the Corfiot culinary culture. You will then follow a step-by-step live presentation of the preparation of a full Corfiot meal – starter, salad, first course, main course, and desert. Participate in the cooking and sample the dishes at different stages of cooking. After the demonstration you will be able to enjoy lunch while relaxing in the ambient surroundings in the nature before returning to the port.

Corfu- Mon Repos Palace - Kanoni & Corfu Town
We depart from Corfu’s Port and we drive to Kanoni, a beauty spot situated 4 kilometers south from Corfu
Town center.

Here participants will stop to admire the lovely views and take pictures of the famous “Mouse Island” one of the legendary petrified Ulysses’ boats and the little chapel of the Holly Virgin of Vlacherna nearby. Later we drive northbound and after a while we stop in front of the main gate of “Mon Repos” Palace. An approx. 7 minutes walk through the gardens will lead participants to the Palace.

The Palace was built by the second British Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands, Sir Frederic Adam, in 1828 when he got married to a Corfu lady Mrs. Palatianou.

It was used as the Summer Residence of the High Commissioners, while their official residence was the
Palace of St. Michael and St. George in Corfu town itself. It was designed by an English engineer named
Harper who was at the time employed by the Corfu technical department. It is a circular building of the
English style with a large basement and one floor with wide verandas reached by a wooden staircase. On
this first floor were the sleeping quarters and the reception halls.Of course the main beauty of the villa is its setting. It has a garden with numerous types of trees and other exotic plants brought by Lord Adam from England and the Commonwealth. The Empress Elizabeth of Austria accepted here the hospitality of the last High Commissioner, Storks , in 1861.Many other important personalities stayed in the villa after the Ionian Islands were ceded to Greece in 1864 whereupon it was donated to the Greek Royal family. In fact, the second son of King George I, George, was born here in 1869.In 1900, the wedding of Princess Maria, daughter of King George I and Olga took place here when she married the Archduke Georgio Mihailovic of Russia. The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip , the British Queen’s husband , was born (1921) and baptized here.

The Greek Royal family spent their summer holidays at Mon Repos, hosting their guests (Tito of Jugoslavia, Haile Selasie of Ethiopia, Nasser of Egypt etc.), until the last King Constantine, after a referendum in 1974, went into exile in England.

Today Mon Repos belongs to the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Corfu Town and the Palace
operates as a Neo-Classical Museum and as Archaeological Museum with mainly local findings from ancient Corfu.

After the visit participants will be driven to the historical center of Corfu Town to enjoy a guided walk
around the picturesque kandounia (the old narrow Venetian streets), where the following historical sights
are to be seen:

The residence of the British High Commissioner, a splendid Edwardian building, completed in 1824, once the seat of the Knights of Saint Michael and Saint George up to 1864, and later the Palace of the King of Greece.

The bronze statue of the British High Commissioner, Sir Frederick Adam The Venetian quarters of Cambiello and Corfu's Historical Center. The Town Hall, once a Venetian theater, built in 1690. The nChurch of Saint Spiridon, Patron Saint of Corfu with the rare icons, where the Holly body of the Saint
lays in a crypt

There will be free time for shopping before returning to the pier.

Delphi – History & the Oracle w/lunch - Full Day Tour

In the morning, you will be met by your English-speaking guide upon disembarkation from the cruise ship to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, you will be transferred back to the ship.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Delphi via the National Highway passing through the spectacular sites of Boetia, Thebes and Levadia.

Delphi is by common consent the most spectacularly beautiful ancient site in Greece and the one, which, even to the uninitiated, most vividly evokes the Classical Past.  In antiquity Delphi was regarded as the centre of the world (omphalos of the earth) and to this, and its oracle, the place owed its prestige, which extended far beyond the Greek world.

Our visit to Delphi is divided into three parts: the Sanctuary of Apollo with the Stadion; the Castalian spring and the Sanctuary of Athena at Marmaria (from above as it is a steep ragged climb to access it); and the Museum.

Enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant.  En route to Athens, there will be a short stop at the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. The village is famous for its attractive hand-woven carpets and rugs as well as for its wine and cheese.

In the early evening return to Athens.

Santorini Island Tour - Half Day Tour

You will be met by your English-speaking guide upon disembarkation from the ship, at the bottom of the cable car at the Old Port of Fira. Our lovely tour starts with a scenic drive through the plains of Santorini to picturesque Oia, the crowning glory of peace and tranquillity.

Built on the northern part of the caldera rim, it is here where many artists have been inspired due to its magnificent location with its most superb views of the caldera, the rest of the island and the Aegean Sea.. We then stop at one of the famous wineries to enjoy a wine tasting tour of the fine wines produced on the island. Our final stop is Fira, the islands capital town.

The island used to be circular, but a massive volcanic explosion around 3,500 years ago blew out the centre of the island. (Many people attribute the decline of Minoan civilization on Crete to this cataclysmic eruption. High cliffs jutting into the sea are all that's left of the crater rim.

The surrounding islands are the remains of the sides of the crater, and the sea has filled in the gaps, forming a beautiful bay. Sunsets on the island are particularly striking; all the restaurants and bars in Fira face west over the sunken volcano and the Aegean Sea.

Santorini - Traditional Cooking Experience - 5.5 hours
Upon disembarkation from the ship at the Old Port of Fira, you will be met by your English-speaking escort who will escort you (on foot) to the Selene restaurant. Upon completion of the program you can return on your own to the cable cars leading to the ship.

We will welcome you at Selene Restaurant with fresh juice, coffee and traditional Greek cookies. A lecture by Yiorgos Hatziyannakis will give you an introduction to the cuisine of the Cycladic Islands and particularly of Santorini. Following the lecture, we will introduce to you the unique local products of our island. The volcanic eruption that broke the island of Santorini apart almost 3500 years ago left the dramatic caldera that you see today. With more than 300 days of sunshine and its rich volcanic soil, the island yields a bounty of unusual indigenous herbs and vegetables: white eggplant, capers and caper leaves, fava (small yellow peas), exquisite baby tomatoes - all grown virtually without water.

We will introduce you to the Santorini wine, to the grape varieties and to the Santorini vineyard, and you will have the chance to sample four different wines in the wine tasting we have arranged for you. Cheeses and sausages from several other Cycladic islands, including Naxos, Syros, Ios, Tinos, brought especially for this occasion, will accompany the wines.

At about 12pm the presentation and the demonstration of four different recipes will take place. You will learn how to prepare an entire Greek menu: an appetizer, a salad, a main course, and a dessert. Food items include:
  • Fava with tomato caper sauce or Tomato fritters (tomatokeftedes)
  • Eggplant salad with octopus or Taramosalata
  • Rabbit with egg- cheese sauce or Lamb in grapevine leaves
  • Cheese and honey sweet pastry or Melitinia (traditional Santorini cookie)
After we have prepared the dishes, at about 2pm. you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labors accompanied by a bottle of delicious wine from Santorini.

Duration approx. 5 1/2 hours

Note: The program is available for couples and small parties of up to 8 persons

The program starts at approx. 10am. Lunch is served at 2pm.

Athens at a Glance - 3 hours

Guests will be met by our English speaking guide to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, transfer will be provided back to the ship.

We begin our exciting tour with a visit to the glamorous Acropolis, where we admire one of the world's masterpieces, the eternal Parthenon. Continue with the highlights of historical and modern Athens. Enjoy the most famous historical spots in Athens including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, guarded by the colourful Evzones, the ex-Royal Palace and the Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held, and admire the unique perspective of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Hadrian's' Arch. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Plaka (old part of Athens).

In the afternoon (or even before lunch), continue with a visit to one of the following of your choice:

  • The National Archaeological Museum: This is the most important archaeological museum in Greece and one of the richest in the world concerning ancient Greek art. The Ancient Agora: At the foot of the Acropolis is the archaeological site of the ancient Agora. The Agora was the heart of ancient Athens; the focus of political, commercial, administrative and social activity; the religious and cultural centre and the seat of justice.

Athens - Ancient Corinth Tour - 4.5 hours

In the morning, you will be met by your English-speaking guide upon disembarkation from the cruise ship to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, you will be transferred back to the ship.

Departure for the excursion to Corinth and Cenchreae, from the where St. Paul left for Ephesus.  Stop to view the Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean with the Ionian Sea.  Ancient Corinth is sited inland at the foot of Mount Acrocorinth.  The City’s ‘Long Wall’ began from the summit of the mountain, encompassed the city and ended at the port of Lechaio, which was the artificial harbor built on the shore of the Gulf of Corinth.

In the area of the city itself, the ruins are those of its Agora (Forum) as it was in the days of the Romans in the 1st century AD. On the northern side of the agora, seven of the thirty-eight columns of the Ancient Temple of Apollo (6th century BC) still stand. To the northeast of the Agora are the remains of the Theater and the Roman Odeon. Among the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Bema can be seen single structure from where St. Paul preached to the Corinthians.  Corinth was the city where St. Paul created one of the biggest Christian communities in Europe.  A visit to the Museum is also included as well as a stop at the small port of Lechaio, where Paul disembarked.

Duration: Approximately 4½ hours

Athens - Jewish History Tour - Half Day Tour

Guests will be met by our English speaking guide to commence the tour. Upon completion of the tour, transfer will be provided back to the ship.

Take a short drive to the city of Athens, the cradle of the European civilization. For twenty-five centuries, the panorama of this city is dominated by the rock of the Acropolis. Leave your vehicle at the foot of the rock and follow your guide uphill to visit the Acropolis and see the principal buildings: the Propylaia, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon Temple. During your visit, you will also have some free time to enjoy the magnificent view and take some photos.

Continue on with a panoramic tour of the city where you will view the Olympieion (the Temple of Olympian Zeus) from the 6th Century BC, one of the largest Corinthian style temples in Greek history and Hadrian’s Arch (2nd Century AD) which divided the Greek city from Hadrian’s new Roman city. Arriving at Syntagma Square, see the Royal Palace, built for Otto I of Bavaria and the present-day Parliament. In front of the Palace stands the Monument of the Unknown Soldier where two soldiers (Evzoni) stand guard continuously.  Finally visit the Stadium, which stands on the site of the Ancient Stadium, laid out under Lycurgus in the 4th Century BC and rebuilt in 1896 on its original plan for the modern Olympic Games.

We continue onward with a visit to the Jewish Museum of Athens. The Museum was founded in 1977 in order to collect, conserve, research and exhibit the material evidence of 2300 years of Jewish life in Greece. Its collection, which is continuously enriched, consists of seven and a half thousand original artifacts, photographs, documents and archives, and includes diverse material pertaining to the domestic and religious life, as well as the historical course of the Greek Jews.

The permanent exhibition illustrates subject areas such as the synagogue, the Jewish Holidays, traditional costumes, the Holocaust, the cycle of life and more.

It is recommended that guests wear flat, comfortable walking shoes.

Seabourn: Seabourn Odyssey

Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. On that occasion, the guests on board for the maiden voyage were all honored as the ship's godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship. Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships. Seabourn Odyssey's 229 ocean-view suites are divided into 13 categories, with interior measurements from 295 to over 1,200 square feet. Ninety percent have private verandas, which add from 65 to over 350 square feet of additional private living space.

Highlights in accommodations are the exceptional Wintergarden Suites, which have a private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and a lounging bed. This suite also features a veranda that is bowed out, giving wonderful views along the side of the ship. The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey's additional size is utilized to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues.

Dining

Some of life's most cherished moments occur around the table, and every meal with Seabourn is another opportunity to celebrate. Seabourn’s award-winning cuisine starts with the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavors, prepared á la minute by our skilled chefs and served with pride.

Multiple dining options including The Grill is a unique culinary concept for Chef Keller, exclusive to Seabourn.

The Grill by Thomas Keller

Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.
Activities
A day on a Seabourn ship offers delightful diversions for activity or relaxation. Greet the sun for an on-deck yoga stretch, or roll over and snooze until later. Run on a sea-view treadmill in the gym, or indulge in a massage at the spa. Attend a fascinating lecture, or lounge on your private veranda as you read the news with PressReader. Try the nine-hole putting course, or test your luck at the Casino. Visit the salon for a facial, take a dip in the pool, or you can even watch a first-run movie in bed (with popcorn).

Daytime Activities

Work out in your ship's well-equipped fitness center, with cardio and resistance equipment. Strengthen your core with complimentary Pilates and yoga classes, or book a private session with a personal trainer. Expand your horizons in our library, at a port lecture or at one of our many inspiring enrichment programs. Enjoy a complimentary Massage MomentSM on deck. Indulge your need for pampering at the spa, or pamper your palate at a food or wine tasting. Many voyages feature our signature Caviar in the SurfSM Beach Party or a Marina DaySM, inviting you to enjoy complimentary watersports right from the back of your ship.

Nighttime Activities

Guests gather in our lounges for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés, sharing the day's adventures with each other. For some, this is their favorite part of the evening. Each night offers something new. Enjoy a sophisticated cabaret one night, or a game of Blackjack in the casino the next. You can dance the night away at The Club or enjoy listening to some piano music at the Observation Bar. Some of our signature events take advantage of the beautiful night sky, including Movies Under the StarsSM, and dancing to live music at an Evening Under the StarsSM. And, before retiring, consider a nightcap at the Sky Bar to celebrate everything you've experience on your fantastic voyage, and all that lies ahead.

Shipboard Policies
  • Internet Access
Guests may use their laptop computer or other wireless internet enabled device to connect to the wireless internet service on board.

Computer terminals are also available at Seabourn Square or in the Computer Center, depending upon the ship. Pricing starts at $.40/minute. Internet Plans are available at a reduced rate and vary in price to accommodate individual needs. Packages are interchangeable between the private computer terminals and your wireless device.

Satellite internet access is significantly slower than land-based high-speed connections, and subject to occasional interruption or disruption for reasons beyond Seabourn's control. Certain websites and services may be restricted due to limited bandwidth. Internet access onboard the ship is best for email communication or web browsing only. If you have any questions prior to sailing, please contact your Travel Professional or Seabourn Reservations at (866)755-5619.

  • Medical Emergencies
Onboard medical facilities are equipped to provide care for unexpected illness and accidents. These basic facilities are not intended or designed for ongoing treatment of pre-existing conditions. If you anticipate a need for medical services, your special requirement must be cleared in writing with Seabourn before your booking can be finalized.

  • Pregnancy Policy
Seabourn ships do not have specialized facilities and/or treatment required for childbirth, prenatal and early infant care. Those facilities may also not be obtainable ashore in ports of call. Accordingly, Seabourn cannot accept a booking or carry any guest who will be 24 completed weeks or more pregnant on the last day of the intended cruise. All pregnant women are required to produce a physician’s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel, and that the pregnancy is not high-risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD).

  • Smoking Policy
For the comfort of all guests, most public areas on board are smoke-free. Cigarette smoking is permitted ONLY in the following areas:

    • Observation Bar/Lounge – On the starboard side (except during coffee and tea service hours)
    • Sky Bar – At the bar and starboard side deck area (except during Sky Grill food service on Seabourn Pride, Spirit & Legend)
    • Seabourn Square Terrace and Club Terrace – on the starboard side deck area

Guests are asked to refrain from smoking pipes and cigars anywhere inside the ship, including in guest suites, on verandas and balconies. Cigar and pipe smoking is permitted ONLY on open decks (Seabourn Pride, Spirit & Legend) and ONLY on the starboard side deck area of Seabourn Square Terrace on Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn & Quest. If you have any doubts about any area, please consult your onboard staff.

  • Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required
Guests with special dietary needs are asked to notify Seabourn at the time of booking or, at the latest, six weeks before sailing. Guests are also encouraged to take advantage of My Seabourn, where you may personalize your Seabourn cruise experience, select your dining preferences, and manage your reservations and Seabourn Club information. Every effort will be made to comply with special dietary requests.

For guests with food intolerances or allergies that are not life-threatening, please contact our Reservations Department at 1-800-929-9391.

For guests with life-threatening food allergies, Seabourn requires that guests provide detailed information to the Access & Compliance Department by completing a Special Requirements Information form (SRI). Guests should indicate on this form which foods may potentially cause a severe reaction. For additional information please visit the Accessible Cruising section of Seabourn's website.

Guests with a variety of severe food allergies sail with Seabourn regularly. The galley staff on board is accustomed to, and experienced in, dealing with these types of needs. The galley itself has many different areas of food preparation, which can help reduce the possibility of cross-contamination. It is important to note, however, that meals are prepared in open galleys on board the ships, thus there is always the possibility of some cross-contamination. As such, Seabourn cannot guarantee that a guest will not come in contact with those items. Although the Access & Compliance Department will provide the ship with an advance notice of all food allergies detailed on an SRI submitted to them, it is recommended that guests also contact the Maitre d’ upon boarding to review the details of these special dietary needs.

  • Wheelchair Access & Special Needs
Seabourn is committed to providing safe, easy, and accessible accommodations for all persons with disabilities, to the extent that is feasible.

Seabourn does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of disability. However, some needs require adequate time to prepare for a guest's arrival. It is recommended that guests make every effort to contact the Access & Compliance Department and to submit a Special Requirements Information form (SRI) well in advance of the departure date. It is recommended that guests submit an SRI upon booking or a minimum of 45 days prior to departure.

Guests who are unable to care for their basic needs (e.g. dressing, eating, and attending safety drills) MUST have a capable traveling companion. The medical staff on board is not available for daily care unless an individual is hospitalized in the ship's Medical Center. In limited situations (either on board or ashore), Seabourn may find it necessary to ask the individual to make alternative travel arrangements, such as if an individual with a disability is unable to satisfy certain specified safety and other criteria, even when provided with appropriate auxiliary aids and services.

    WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY ONBOARD
Seabourn's vessels have specially designed suites for guests who need mobility assistance. If you have not booked one of these accessible suites but instead will be using a standard suite, you need to know about some limitations that adversely impact maneuverability, especially ingress and egress into bathrooms. For example, bathroom dimensions, doorsills, and the height of bathtubs in standard suites are often difficult to negotiate for guests who have limited mobility. Additionally, standard suite doors and hallways may be too narrow for a wheelchair or scooter to maneuver into and out of the suite. Please note: For safety reasons, these mobility devices must be stored and charged in the guests' suites. If you have booked a non-accessible suite, you should know that most suite entry doors measure 23 inches wide.

    Quest, Sojourn and Odyssey:
The Quest, Sojourn, and Odyssey offer Wheelchair Accessible Suites with features such as wider entry doors, roll-in showers with grab bars, benches/seats, hand-held shower nozzles, and lowered closet and towel rods. If you have booked a Wheelchair Accessible Suite, you should know that Wheelchair accessible suite entry doors measure a minimum of 32 inches wide.

  • Accessible suite locations are noted on the Deck Plans for each ship

    PERSONAL MOBILITY EQUIPMENT ONBOARD
For the safety of all guests and crew and to enhance accessibility, Seabourn strongly recommends that all personal electric mobility equipment meet the following criteria:

    • Width: 23" maximum in order to be accommodated in a standard suite, unless collapsible to a width of 23" or less
    • Weight: 100 lbs. maximum without battery
    • Batteries: Must be Gel or Dry Cell or AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) only

Seabourn recognizes that for some people, a larger scooter may be essential. If you believe you need a larger scooter, please contact the Access & Compliance Department to discuss your requirements. For the safety of all guests and crew, scooters and other mobility equipment need to be securely stored and charged in the guest's suite; not in hallways or elevator lobbies. Scooters left in hallways and elevator lobbies could restrict people needing to travel through these areas in an emergency, particularly other guests using mobility aids.

Seabourn is not able to provide complimentary wheelchair assistance for any purpose other than embarkation, disembarkation, and emergency situations. Seabourn wheelchairs are not available for shore excursions or for use on board. If you will require regular use of a wheelchair, it is recommended that you bring your own wheelchair with you. You may also make advance rental arrangements prior to your sailing and have a wheelchair delivered directly to the ship for use on board and in ports of call.

Seabourn recommends Special Needs at Sea and CareVacations/CruiseShipAssist as vendors for delivery of mobility devices. Please contact these vendors directly for pricing and availability.

    SHORESIDE WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANCE

    Airports and/or Train Stations
Wheelchair assistance that is requested for airports or train stations must be done directly through the airline or rail station. Seabourn is not able to arrange for wheelchair assistance at airports or train stations.

    Land Tours and/or Shore Excursions
Because facilities in ports around the world vary significantly, wheelchair accommodations may not be available for some land tours and/or shore excursions. Furthermore, many transportation vehicles around the world do not have wheelchair lifts. It may be necessary for Seabourn to make alternate transportation arrangements such as a sedan vehicle. This requires that a guest who uses a wheelchair be able to transfer from their wheelchair to the front or back seat of a sedan. Due to the limited number of lift-equipped vehicles in foreign locations, guests may incur additional costs for transportation related to airport transfers, shore excursions, and tour/hotel packages. Please note, lift equipped transportation within the United States may be arranged without additional costs. For information on alternative transportation arrangements and associated costs please contact the Access & Compliance Department. Please advise Seabourn as far in advance as possible of any special needs for transfers. This will help to ensure availability of the appropriate vehicle(s) and for Seabourn to provide an estimate of additional associated costs. Guests should be aware that certain third party shore excursion facilities may not be fully accessible to guests with disabilities. Although Seabourn endeavors to make sure these companies comply with legal requirements, they cannot guarantee that all are able to provide facilities that are accessible to individuals with disabilities. For detailed information on accessibility of shore excursions, it is strongly recommend that guests contact the Shore Excursions Department prior to embarkation at 1-800-984-3225 (or locally at 206-626-9187) or visit the Shore Excursions Office on board.

Please be advised that all pre-arranged mobility equipment rentals must be made by the guest and the third party provider. Consequently, guests assume the entire risk of utilizing these third party services subject only to whatever terms or arrangements are made by the guest or on guest's behalf with the service provider. Refund issues must be dealt with solely between the guest and the service provider. Seabourn recommends contacting one of these companies to confirm your arrangements as soon as possible in order to ensure the availability of your specific requests.

    SERVICE ANIMALS
Only service animals are permitted on board Seabourn ships. Service animals are defined as those animals that are individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. Seabourn does not permit guests to bring pets, therapy/companion animals, and other animals that do not meet the definition of service animals. Any questions regarding service animals may be addressed by the Access & Compliance Department.

Your itinerary may include ports of call that have very specific and strict requirements that need to be met prior to service animals being allowed off the ship. Please be sure you understand these requirements for each port of call. The best places to obtain specific information on required documentation and immunizations for your service animal are the U.S. Department of Agriculture's website, local customs offices in the specific ports, and from your service animal's veterinarian. All documentation and immunization requirements are established by government authorities and not by Seabourn. Should you need assistance in locating this information, please contact the Access & Compliance Department.

To board the ship, service animals must have current vaccinations. Records confirming the vaccination status should be provided to the Access & Compliance Department prior to your departure. It is also recommended that you carry the immunization records with you in case they are required at any port of call. If you do not have the proper documentation and proof of vaccinations for your service animal, or if there are local quarantine requirements, your service animal will be denied the right to leave the ship. If your service animal is denied the right to leave the ship, the staff on board will work with you to determine what actions may be possible to allow you to visit the port without your service animal. Please note that in your absence, you will need to provide for the care and supervision of your service animal. Except in those circumstances where your service animal has been denied disembarkation, you may not leave your service animal unattended on the vessel or in your suite at any time.

DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING GUESTS
To help maximize the cruise experience for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, Seabourn has made the following items available:

    • With advance notice, suite kits that include a visual and tactile alert for someone knocking at the door, the phone ringing, or an alarm.
    • Suite televisions capable of showing closed captioning (some satellite feeds do not transmit with captioning, so this feature is available only when the signal the ship receives has captioning).
    • Telephones with amplified sound for suites.
    • Assistive Listening Systems with portable receivers (available on Quest, Sojourn and Odyssey only) in the show lounges to assist guests who are hard of hearing during performances.
    • Written safety information and a copy of the lifeboat drill safety speech.

    BLIND OR LOW VISION GUESTS
To help maximize the cruise experience for guests who are blind or have low vision, Seabourn has made the following items available:

    • With 45 days notice, large print or Braille menus describing the inspired cuisine offered across a myriad of venues, from the elegant Dining Room to the casual dining options.
    • A familiarization tour of the vessel upon arrival.

    OXYGEN DELIVERIES ONBOARD
Guests requiring continuous or intermittent oxygen for chronic conditions must make their own arrangements prior to travel. Seabourn ships are not equipped to provide guests with these services other than on an emergency basis in the Ship's Medical Center. For security and safety reasons, Seabourn has selected CareVacations/CruiseShipAssist and Special Needs at Sea as the only outside vendors permitted to deliver oxygen supplies to their ships. Oxygen and/or oxygen equipment deliveries will NOT be accepted from any other companies.

Refund issues must be dealt with solely between the guest and the service provider. Seabourn recommends contacting one of these companies to confirm arrangements as soon as possible in order to ensure the availability of your specific requests. Guests are also welcome, however, to bring their own oxygen and/or oxygen equipment from home. Please note that Seabourn staff and crew are not permitted to handle oxygen and/or oxygen equipment during the embarkation and disembarkation process. Thus, guests must be able to handle their supplies if they bring their own. Please contact the Access & Compliance Department prior to sailing if you will require oxygen while on your cruise.

Please Note: In accordance with FAA regulations, airlines have restrictions concerning traveling with oxygen and oxygen containers. It is the traveler’s responsibility to be familiar with and in compliance of the regulations of the airline they are traveling on.

    CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Seabourn does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of disability. They seek to the extent feasible to accommodate the needs of all individuals with disabilities, including children. However, due to the sensitivity of caring for any child, with or without a disability, they must first determine what the child's specific needs are so they may properly evaluate and determine the best and safest way to meet these needs. Seabourn encourages families to contact the Access & Compliance Department prior to their cruise, to evaluate and determine what the child's specific needs will be and how best to accommodate those needs.

The ship has a small but modern basic medical facility that is staffed by a doctor and a nurse. This facility is equipped to provide medical care for illness or accidents that may arise during the cruise, but is not intended to provide ongoing medical treatment. Since the ship will either be at sea or in ports where availability of medical facilities and pharmaceutical products may be limited, it is suggested that you bring adequate supplies of prescription medications and other health-related items.
