Traveling is my passion, now over 47 years in the travel industry, I have had a wonderful time travelling the world and experiencing the many exciting sites it has to offer. As I am learning about a new culture or destination, I cannot help thinking about how much fun it will be to share my new adventure when I return. My most recent trip was the Galapagos Islands aboard the Lindblad/National Geographic Endeavor II. The Giant Tortoise was my favorite experience, along with the Blue Footed Boobie and Marine Iguanas. One of my other loves is cruising, specifically river cruising. It has everything you need on a small and more intimate scale. I have had the good fortune to experience Tauck River Cruises, AMA Waterways, Uniworld Cruises & Avalon Waterways. I also enjoy doing family vacations and reunions, a unique way of re-connecting and making new memories. South Africa was a dream come true. I had Kruger Park on my Bucket List for many years. It finally happened, and I was not disappointed. An African Safari is an unbelievable experience, like no other. When I went on my Russian Waterway cruise down the Volga River I can say it was an experience of a life time and standing in Red Square was a thrill beyond belief. Egypt and the history still intrigues me, I will forever have the memory of waking up in Cairo with the sun rising behind the Egyptian pyramids just beyond the mist in Giza and also the great archaeological site of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser built in 1300 BC.
